Lauren Wollack has spent her career working in advocacy, communications, social impact strategy, public policy, and gender programming in nonprofit and academic sectors.
Prior to Earthjustice, Lauren was the vice president of Leadership & Global Activation at Vital Voices, where she led efforts to leverage the work of women leading change across the globe to tell stories, change narratives, and mobilize support for gender equality. She oversaw network engagement, advocacy, campaigns, and key brand communications content and partnerships. Lauren also initiated the organization’s environmental justice strategy to mobilize their network of 18,000 women across 182 countries and territories.
Lauren has previous experience in state-level advocacy, communications and policy work where she focused on healthcare, including reproductive rights. She started her career as a community organizer in Philadelphia.
Lauren is passionate about environmental justice, including applying a gender lens to the work. She received her B.A. from Temple University and her Masters in Social Policy from University of Pennsylvania, and is a proud Washington, D.C. native who has been waiting her entire life for full political representation.
