Maz Ali

Maz Ali is managing editor at Earthjustice.
Before joining the team, he was a communications strategist during the throes of the global financial crisis with the Boston-based organization, United for a Fair Economy; he learned how to activate audiences through digital storytelling with Upworthy and GOOD Media; and he brought attention to unique human-environmental narratives with The Redford Center, a boutique film fund co-founded by the late documentary filmmaker James Redford and his father, actor and environmentalist Robert Redford.
With Earthjustice, Maz wants to popularize stories and information we can all use to protect our communities and safeguard the natural world.
Earthjustice is the premier nonprofit environmental law organization. We wield the power of law and the strength of partnership to protect people’s health, to preserve magnificent places and wildlife, to advance clean energy, and to combat climate change. We are here because the earth needs a good lawyer.
