Monica Lauw

Monica Lauw is a senior development writer. She is responsible for creating donor communications critical to the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of Earthjustice supporters.
Monica has over a decade of writing and editing experience. Prior to Earthjustice, she was the communications director at the Virginia Poverty Law Center. Before VPLC, she worked in development and communications in the housing realm in Virginia and Washington. Her years in social justice and respect for the environment reinforce her belief that the fights for justice and our planet are inseparable.
Monica holds a MA in English from George Mason University and a BA in English from Virginia Tech. Outside work, she enjoys reading, cooking, tending her plants, occasionally running, and getting outside with her family (especially her dog, Otis).
