Natalie Burr

Natalie Burr is a senior litigation assistant based in the Northeast office in New York. Before starting at Earthjustice, Natalie worked for the Appalachian Mountain Club, deep in the White Mountain National Forest, educating hikers about conservation practices in the backcountry and maintaining the rugged mountain trails. She earned her B.A. from the University of Michigan’s Program in the Environment, specializing in Environmental Law, Justice, and Policy. While at Michigan, she focused her research on international water law and the creation of environmental legislation in the Arctic.
Natalie grew up in the suburbs of Boston, and she loves backpacking and canoeing. In 2017, she hiked the Appalachian Trail in its entirety, from Georgia to Maine. When indoors, Natalie enjoys cooking, playing cribbage, and knitting.
