Access to Justice, Healthy Communities
Nathan Park is a legislative assistant with the Policy & Legislative team in Washington, D.C.
Nathan (he/they) joined the Earthjustice team as a Legislative Assistant in March 2020 where he works with the Healthy Communities and Access to Justice teams. Prior to his time at Earthjustice, Nathan worked at the National Housing Conference, where he focused on homelessness and the intersection of housing and the climate crisis. Nathan has also worked at the Alliance to Save Energy and the Low Income Investment Fund.
Outside of work, Nathan organizes for climate justice at the local and national levels in DC. One of his favorite memories organizing is building a giant pipeline and oil grim reaper puppet that floated outside of the American Petroleum Institute during the climate strikes. As a Korean-American and queer person, Nathan is also passionate about connecting marginalized communities to the outdoors and making the climate movement more inclusive and restorative.
Earthjustice is the premier nonprofit environmental law organization. We wield the power of law and the strength of partnership to protect people’s health, to preserve magnificent places and wildlife, to advance clean energy, and to combat climate change. We are here because the earth needs a good lawyer.
