Noorulanne is a fellow with Earthjustice’s Midwest regional office in Chicago, Illinois.
Noorulanne has a JD from the University of Texas School of Law and attended Texas Tech University for undergrad. Prior to joining Earthjustice and law school, she was a high school English/ ESL teacher in Houston, Texas. During law school, she participated in the Capital Punishment Clinic, was a research assistant for the Environmental Justice Clinic, and interned with several legal organizations, including Lone Star Legal Aid, Texas RioGrande Legal Aid, Texas Appleseed, Texas Civil Rights Project, and Bayou City Waterkeeper in Houston.
Noorulanne is incredibly passionate about all things Houston and Texas at large. In her free time, she enjoys Pakistani food and dramas, and reading East Asian fiction novels.
