Samantha Vega is a Legislative Assistant, based in the Policy & Legislation office in Washington, D.C.
Before her time at Earthjustice, Samantha was an active member of her Los Angeles Community previously holding positions such as; Field Deputy for the Los Angeles City Council, Program Manager at the Southern California Leadership Program, Community Outreach and Relations Manager at Levitt Pavilion Greater Los Angeles and Pasadena. These positions strengthened her commitment to serving communities much like the ones she grew up in. Whether working inside or outside of the nonprofit sphere Samantha made it her priority to bring information and resources to the communities that need it most. Samantha received her undergraduate degree from Whittier College in Political Science in 2017 and is a first generation college graduate. Her previous fellowship experience includes the Congressional Hispanic Leadership Institute Global Leaders Fellowship and the Labor Council for Latin American Advancement Trabajadoras Fellowship.
