Letter to FERC Commissioner Mcnamee on Recusal from Future FERC Rulings

This correspondence responds to Senator Cortez Masto’s December 12, 2018, letter requesting an update from Bernard L. McNamee as to the guidance sought and received from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission’s Designated Agency Ethics Official (DAEQ) concerning matters that may be heard by McNamee as a Commissioner.

Bernard McNamee was confirmed by the Senate in December 2018 to fill an open seat on the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. McNamee was involved with a Trump Administration coal bailout proposal that FERC unanimously denied.
