Today, the Trump administration released an accounting of its current efforts to take a sledgehammer to a wide range of commonsense rules and safeguards, including a number of crucial environmental and public health protections. Earthjustice is leading the charge to hold President Trump accountable and has launched numerous legal actions to fight back against the administration’s unprecedented attacks on the environment and public health.

The following is a statement from Earthjustice President Trip Van Noppen:

“Desperately flailing for an accomplishment to point to, the administration has opted to boast about its efforts to slam the brakes on protections for the water we drink, the air we breathe, and the lands we cherish. We have a message for President Trump: this fight is far from over. Earthjustice has already met President Trump’s unprecedented attacks on public health and the environment with the full force of law. Any time President Trump tries to cook the books or blow a hole in crucial environmental protections, we will be ready to take him to court and hold him accountable every step of the way.”
