Corinne Van Dalen is a Senior Attorney with the Fossil Fuels Program and is based in New Orleans. She joined Earthjustice in 2019 to fight the petrochemical buildout in Louisiana planned for communities disproportionately impacted by industrial pollution.

She represents frontline groups and ally organizations in permit challenges before state and federal agencies, judicial review proceedings in state court, and zoning disputes before local governing bodies.

Prior to joining Earthjustice, Corinne worked at the Tulane Environmental Law Clinic litigating and training students in Clean Air Act and Clean Water Act citizen suits, permit challenges, and environmental justice complaints. Her work focused on protecting many of the same communities targeted for the current petrochemical buildout.

Corinne is originally from New Jersey and earned both a B.S. in Journalism and a J.D. from the University of Florida.
