Fabiana Castillo is a senior litigation assistant in the Northeast Regional Office.

She came to Earthjustice with ample experience as a paralegal at both the New York County District Attorney’s Office and Brooklyn Defender Services.

Born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Fabiana’s passion for social justice is fueled by witnessing the disproportionate impacts on marginalized individuals in her own community. Since then, she has worked alongside impacted communities to advocate for their rights from education to employment, and now environmental justice.

She received her bachelor’s degree in applied psychology from New York University.
