John (Johnny) Petoskey is a senior associate attorney in Earthjustice’s Midwest Regional Office in Chicago. Johnny represents Tribal Nations and environmental justice communities throughout the Midwest in litigation regarding polluting facilities, pipelines, and air and water quality issues. Prior to coming to Earthjustice, Johnny was an associate at the Environmental Law and Policy Center. He holds a J.D. from University of Michigan Law School and an M.S. from the UM School for Environment and Sustainability. Johnny is an enrolled citizen of the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians and grew up on his Tribe’s reservation in Peshawbestown, Michigan.
