Marie Logan is a senior associate attorney with the California Regional Office, and she is based in San Francisco. Her work primarily focuses on ensuring robust endangered species protections and advocating to protect communities from polluting industries in California.

Marie graduated from UC Berkeley, and thereafter worked as a policy analyst and community organizer with Food & Water Watch, working on ocean protection and water policy campaigns. After spending several years in environmental policy and organizing, she earned her law degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. She held summer clerkships with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and U.S. Department of Justice, and externships during the academic year with several Philadelphia-based non-profits, including Earthjustice’s Philadelphia office. Marie clerked for Justice Fernandez-Vina of the New Jersey Supreme Court after law school.

When she’s not in the office, Marie enjoys gardening, baking, and chasing her children around Golden Gate Park. She has been with Earthjustice since 2016.
