Mayra Reiter

Mayra Reiter is a Senior Research and Policy Analyst in the Policy & Legislation (PAL) department at Earthjustice, where she addresses the cumulative impacts of toxics on communities. Prior to joining Earthjustice she worked as Project Director for Occupational Safety and Health with Farmworker Justice, where she focused on impacts to farmworker health from exposure to pesticides, heat, wildfire smoke, and other workplace risks. She also worked as Research Associate for the Natural Resources Defense Council, where her work focused on environmental policy and human health. She holds a master’s degree in international service from American University, as well as joint master’s degrees in environmental sciences and public affairs from Indiana University.
