Mustafa Saifuddin is a Staff Scientist with the Sustainable Food and Farming Program based in the Northeast office. Mustafa graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2013 with degrees in Biology and Humanities. They completed a PhD in Biology from Boston University in 2018, where they researched and published on soil microbial biogeochemistry in forest ecosystems. While in graduate school, Mustafa was an NSF graduate research fellow and also enjoyed teaching ecology and biology courses. Prior to joining Earthjustice, they worked as an agricultural soil scientist in the Bay Area.
