Noorulanne is an associate attorney with Earthjustice’s Northwest Regional Office in Seattle, Washington. She joined Earthjustice as a legal fellow in the Midwest Regional Office in 2021.

Noorulanne works on facility fights to prevent and eliminate industry encroachment into communities, protecting salmon from pollutants in stormwater, and collaborating with farmworker unions and labor activists, disability justice advocates, and civil rights organizations to hold the pesticide industry accountable for the danger their products pose to farmworkers and their families, rural communities, and Black and brown children across the country.

Noorulanne is a graduate of the University of Texas School of Law and Texas Tech University. Prior to joining Earthjustice and law school, she was a high school English/ESL and special education teacher in Houston, Texas. During law school, she participated in the Capital Punishment Clinic, was a research assistant for the Environmental Justice Clinic, and interned with several legal organizations, including Lone Star Legal Aid, Texas RioGrande Legal Aid, Texas Appleseed, and Bayou City Waterkeeper in Houston.
