Rebecca Ramirez is an associate attorney with the Gulf Regional Office.

Prior to joining Earthjustice, Rebecca served as a Clinical Lecturer in Law and Associate Research Scholar in Law at Yale Law School where she co-directed the Environmental Protection Clinic. Before teaching, Rebecca served as a legal fellow with the Oceans Division at the Natural Resources Defense Council where her work focused on protecting the health of our ocean and coastal ecosystems by preventing offshore oil and gas development and combating illegal fishing practices. She previously served as the Public Interest Environmental Law Fellow at the Environmental Law Institute and held internships with NOAA’s Oceans and Coasts Section of the General Counsel, Earthjustice, and the Human Rights Clinic at the University of Miami.

Rebecca holds a B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin, M.P.S. from the University of Miami Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science, and J.D. with a concentration in Environmental Law from the University of Miami School of Law, where she graduated cum laude.
