The Trump administration’s EPA has repealed the endangerment finding, the scientific and legal requirement for the government to fight climate change, threatening one of the most important tools for protecting our health, our communities, and our economy.

About the speakers

Marvin C. Brown IV is a senior attorney at Earthjustice.

His background is in environmental and civil rights law, where he has practiced with firms including Baker & Hostetler LLP and The Chandra Law Firm LLC, and clerked on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.

Marvin received his J.D. from Yale Law School in 2016 and a B.A. from Ohio State University.

Hana Vizcarra is a supervising senior attorney at Earthjustice.

Previously, she was a staff attorney at Harvard Law School’s Environmental & Energy Law Program where she led EELP’s work on the integration of climate-risk into corporate disclosures and financial risk management and analyzes federal environmental, energy, and climate regulatory policy. Before joining EELP in 2018, Hana practiced environmental law with two national law firms.

Hana received her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center in 2010 and B.A. from Pomona College in California in 2003.
