About Our Work

Water rules over much of Florida. Lakes, wetlands and rivers bring life to Florida's most important natural features: the Everglades, Lake Okeechobee, and the state's mangrove forests and beaches. Our Florida office stops destructive phosphate mining in central Florida and protects the state's precious waterways from agricultural runoff, which is often laden with chemical fertilizers and pesticides.
