RIGHT TO BREATHE: 50 STATES UNITED

Harry Wang

We deserve clean air for all our citizens to breathe, especially our children, seniors, and those with chronic health issues.

Profession: Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist
Group Affiliation: Physicians for Social Responsibility, President of the Sacramento Chapter

Clean Air Ambassador:

Harry Wang, MD

Sacramento, CA

My family has always enjoyed being in the outdoors in nature. We hike in California's Sierra Nevada mountains every year and enjoy daily walks along the Sacramento River. Our daughter's asthma and hospitalization at age eight brought my professional concerns about the impact of poor air quality to a very personal level.

We deserve clean air for all our citizens to breathe, especially our children, seniors, and those with chronic health issues. The science is clear about the devastating health effects of air pollution and what needs to be done to protect our community. The Clean Air Act must be fully implemented. Attempts to weaken this public health law or undermine the authority of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency should be rejected.

All Messages: Supporting Our Clean Air Ambassadors.

Keep up the good work of supporting clean air!

Thank you for keeping our air clean!

Thank you so much from all of us!!!

I'm a chronic asthmatic. One of my mantras is Breathing Is Good. Thanks for helping me and others be able to breathe better.

Thank you, Dr.Wang, for delivering this
vital Clean Air Act message to Washington, DC.
"The science is clear about the devastating health effects of air pollution and what needs to be done to protect our community."

It is the public's right to insist that polluters clean up after themselves!

Thank you for what you do, Dr. Wang!

Thank you Dr. Wong!

Thank you, Dr. Wong, for standing up for clean air.

Thank you Dr. Wong. Clean air is necessary for all living things. Continue to stand strong against the brazen GREED of Corporations and their blatant ignorance!

How basic is breathing? Thank you for the work you are doing.

I AGREE!! Thank you, Dr. Wong!

Our very lives depend upon ambassadors like you Dr. Wang. Thank-you.

clean air is vital for all life...money can't buy you new lungs...we must stand firm against the ignorance at the root of corporate greed.

Yes, yes, yes. We need you to stand strong!

Thank you very much.

Richard

Clean air and water are the most important requirements for health and are a fundamental right of all people.

The corporate polluters who want to poison our air and water for profit are evil and will stop at nothing to dismantle environmental protections for air and water to maximize profits and minimize their liability. They should be stopped at all costs.

The clean air and water acts are the best tool we have to hold these corporate polluters accountable and prevent them from poisoning the whole Earth. These laws should be strengthened and upheld. PERIOD!

We all need clean air to breathe and clean water to drink regardless of political affiliation. Americans should be united on this issue. It is a priority for all life on this planet. Corporate profits are NOT more important than clean air and water.

Clean air is a vital right that all people are entitled to. We must to all that we can to preserve this right for eternity!

Thank you for helping us breathe.

Clean water and air are citizen's rights in America.

Any polluters or would-be polluters should stop complaining about regulations intended to keep our air and water clean, and intended to improve the health and welfare of all Americans.

If they had any morals or ethics, they would stop polluting the Earth. If they choose to pollute the planet, they have a responsibility to pay for the damages they cause.

Our health and welfare is more important than their greed or their desired profits.

As someone whose lungs were damaged by breathing in Houston, Texas and by forced exposure to second-hand smoke while working for a Kentucky-based hospital corporation, I know how important clean, breathable air is. The Clean Air Act saves lives - lets keep it strong.

Polluting companies try to weaken the environmental laws by whining how the difficult economical times mean they deserve a break. They try it every single time.

Please defend our right to breath clean air by fully implementing the Clean Air Act.

Clean air is a right and a must !

Thanks for your advocacy!

Dr. Wang thank you for your advocacy and being our ambassador for clean air and supporting the authority of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to fully implement the Clean Air Act.

Thank you for your courage and for standing up for what's right!

Let's get clean! Air, that is...

I have lived in various places and visited others - often the air is really vile. Breathing is difficult and may have a strong chemical smell.

I like to breathe clean and fresh air, like that that happens after a good heavy downpour that brings most of the particulate matter to the ground, for at least a while. We were recently in the mountains a couple of hours from Orange County CA, and the difference in breathing was pronounced - much better there than where we live. It should all be like that, which it won't if the profit -mongers have their way. Go gettem Dr. Wang!

THANK YOU - STAND STRONG

We need air free of pollutants, not bigger profits for short-sighted corporations.

YAY! Thank you for speaking out!!

thank you Dr. Wang from my childrens children.

Thank you for knowing & caring to do the right thing in the face of ignorance & greed.

Thank you for being our voice in favor of doing whaT SHOULD come naturally ~ everything possible to ensure that the air we breathe is free of the pollutants that assault our lungs and our lives. It's hard to believe that ANYONE would want otherwise. The quest for ever-increasing profits blinds the eyes dims the vision of our "representatives," the lobbyists' victims. Let's pray that they wake up before it's too late.

Thank you Dr. Wang for being one of our ambassadors for clean air and supporting the authority of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to fully implement the
Clean Air Act.

I have been in countries where the aifr looked yellow and smelled foul and it hurt to breath in. We need clean air!

Thank you so very much for being committed to the health of the planet and all of its inhabitants, this, to me, is aware common sense.

That we are even arguing this point might depresses and discourage one altogether, were it not for people like you determined to lead us into smarter directions. Please do not give up ever! And thank you!

Thank you for being the only responsible adult in a room filled with selfish bratty children.

It's so obvious that we all need unpolluted air! We simply need to convince our representatives to prioritize people and nature over profits. Let's get together and make it happen.

Thank you for protecting the health of our citizens. We need more people like you.

Thank you for looking into the future. Without air (or quality air) this earth does not have a standing chance!

San Diego was recently noted as being in the top 10 for air pollution. Please continue your advocacy work on our behalf! Thank you very much.

I had a friend who died of complications of asthma on a hot, smoggy Sacramento summer day. If we had clean air, he might still be alive. Thank-you for your efforts.

Thank you for doing the right thing.

My daughter and granddaughter both have asthma. Thank you for fighting for clean air for all of us!!

Thank you Dr. Wang for putting a face on politics. I feel blessed to be a Californian and honored to have you in D.C. defending our state and nation.

Thank you and lets keep our air clean.

ALL ANIMALS KNOW BETTER THAN TO DESTROY THE ENVIRONMENT IN WHICH THEY LIVE-- EXCEPT HUMANS.

Clean Air ; Such A Basic And Fundamental

Need For Life ! ! !
