Fair Chance Hiring. Earthjustice will consider qualified applicants with a criminal history pursuant to the California Fair Chance Act, and any applicable local ordinance, such as the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Act, or the Los Angeles City Fair Chance Initiative. You do not need to disclose your criminal history or participate in a background check until a conditional job offer is made to you. Important Notice Earthjustice staff are working two days a week in the office. After six months, the Executive Leadership Team will evaluate whether to adjust our hybrid work plan. COVID-19 Vaccination Policy Earthjustice recognizes the vital role COVID-19 vaccines play in keeping our communities safe during the pandemic. The reopening of our offices and the importance of in-person activities (travel, court appearances, all staff meetings, etc.) underscore the need for staff to be vaccinated against COVID-19.

As a result, Earthjustice requires staff to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment consistent with applicable law. Earthjustice defines being fully vaccinated as having received all recommended COVID-19 vaccines, including any booster dose(s) when eligible, per CDC guidance. Consistent with applicable law, staff will be asked to provide proof of vaccination.
